As the game progressed the Greyhounds started catching up leaving the crowd and the couches on the edge of their seats, Coach East receiving a yellow card for arguing with the referee.

After each huddle it was audible from miles away the team shouting, “Seven on seven!” and diving into the pool to secure the win. Evidently in the last minutes of the game after a back and forth between the Bearcats leading and the Greyhounds tying it up until time was finally out and celebration through the stands erupted as the scoreboard said 9-8.

This leaves the varsity girls water polo team with a score of 2-1 in league and an overall score of 6-2. Notable players were senior Tatiana Smeltzer and sophmore Holly DiSimone both scoring multiple goals and ensuring another win.
