Women’s Tennis Backhand’s the Porterville Panthers

Women%E2%80%99s+Tennis+Backhand%E2%80%99s+the+Porterville+Panthers

Lady Bearcats defeat the Panthers during CIF Quarterfinals but fall short in the semi-finals against Clovis East Timberwolves.

On Tuesday, November 2nd, the Bearcats laced up their tennis shoes and stepped onto the court with determination, and were prepared for every ball that would fly their way. The ladies competed against Porterville Panthers and beat them with an overall score of 7-2. In singles, they won five out of the seven sets, and in doubles, they won two out of the three sets.

On Thursday, November 4th the ladies once again fought hard for a winning title against Clovis East but ultimately lost with a final score of 2-7. In singles, they won two out of the six games and in doubles they lost three out of three games. Having lost this competition they placed fourth in CIF.

Over the course of their season, they had a winning percentage of 65% with a total of 13 wins and seven losses. At home, they won seven games and lost two games, and away they won six games and lost five games.
