Varsity Boys Soccer Narrowly Beat the Hounds


The Varsity Boys soccer squad beat the Atascadero Hounds 2-1 in overtime.

The Varsity boy’s soccer team beat out rival Atascadero Greyhounds 2-1 after going into overtime on Jan. 12. This earned them their tenth overall win of the season and the Bearcats’ fourth league win. The final point was made in overtime by senior Javier Solis with an impressive headbutt into the goal assisted by junior Aiden Kerr. Securing themselves first in league, the boys have won four league games and tied one. This places the team seventh in the Southern Section Division 3 Rankings.
