Baseball is
Here,
Folks

Play Ball! Bearcat baseball is finally here, and they’re off to a good start. On Saturday, February 19, 2022, the Bearcats lead by 2 Division 1 commits, Senior Carson Turnquist and Senior Bryson Hoier, played Cabrillo high school at 3:30pm. The boys beat Cabrillo 9-2 in 7 complete innings.  Starting pitcher for the Bearcats, Austin Taylor, showed out, having 8 strikeouts in 5 innings, giving up 2 runs to the Conquistadores. Batting 3rd for the Bearcats, Hoier had an outstanding game going 3 for 3 at the plate with 2 stolen bases. In the 6th inning Turnquist came in to pitch. He had 5 strikeouts and 1 walk in 2 innings. The separator between Cabrillo and Paso was errors. Cabrillo had 6 errors in the field while Paso had 0, maybe defense really does win championships. In the end, the boys played really well and are looking to have a great season in 2022.
