Bearcats Lose to Pirates


Varsity boys waterpolo succumb to Santa Ynez

The varsity boys’ water polo team lost their first game of the season against the Santa Ynez Pirates 12-17.¬†

The top scorer was Reily Lowry making five goals. Other Bearcats that scored were Nolan Rumph, Cole Eberhard, Morgan Henry, Tre Eade, and Cody Domingos. Goalkeepers Waylon Abernathy and Evan Swettenam both had three goal saves each.

The game was Mar. 7 at Municipal Pool. They will be playing Santa Ynez again Mar. 10 as visitors in the pool.
