Varsity boys soccer tie with the Braves 1-1

Starting off with the Braves scoring in the first half, the Bearcats defended the goal for the remainder of the game. Paso Robles hosted the Lompoc Braves at War Memorial Stadium on Wednesday, Dec. 11, and fought to make a comeback.

“I don’t think we got the start we wanted in the first half, but second half we picked it up and started picking the Lompoc team apart. Communication is a really big thing we want to improve because it’s a very important aspect of the game and we hope to get it down quick,” sophomore Adan Sandoval said.

Within ten minutes into the second half, a goal was scored for the Bearcats by senior Alfredo Moreno. This tied the game with a final score of 1-1, leaving the varsity soccer team overall 7-2-2 and their next home game against Clovis North on Dec. 20, 2019.
