Bearcat football falls to the Grizzlies

Central Grizzlies take down the Bearcats 49-0

Traveling two hours into the San Joaquin Valley, PRHS Bearcat football team got ready to take on Central High School. The Grizzlies took the lead quick, scoring three times in the first quarter making the score 21-0. Going into the second quarter, the Bearcats held them to three more touchdowns, leaving to the locker room with the score of 42-0. The clock ran the second half and the Bearcats’ defense gained momentum. Senior Garrison Thomas┬áhad an interception going from PRHS’s 19-yard line to CHS’s 17-yard line. Senior Crisostomo Magalona III started at quarterback for the Bearcats and gained yards for his team. The final score was Central 49 and PRHS 0.
