The Varsity girls’ soccer team dominated their competition at the Roosevelt tournament at Roosevelt High School in Fresno, earning first place. The team achieved three wins out their four games and tied the last game 0-0. Players Madison Wineman, Elise Scheiffele, Sophia Solorio, Madison Mitchell, and Giselle Zatarain all scored for the Bearcats. In the second game, Wineman had a hat trick, scoring three goals. These games occurred Friday, Dec 2 and Saturday, Dec 3. The last game the team played ended with penalty kicks, resulting in a Bearcat win.
