Top+5+Changes+at+PRHS+of+2023

These are the Top 5 changes in 2023 at PRHS:

5. Bell Schedule

The beginning of the 2023-2024 school year out bell schedule has shifted by 2 minutes. They shifted it because students were suggesting last year to make nutrition longer and they did. Along with that change it made block periods longer as well.

4. Attendance Office and Career Center

Towards the end of 2023 they changed the attendance office and college and career center. The attendance office is now next to the library where the college and career center was since it was an easier access to track when students left since it’s next to the front gate.

3. Beach Volleyball Courts

Since the beach volleyball has started at PRHS they haven’t had much of a court to play on, except Sherwood park. Although recently they have begun a process of creating more sand courts for Beach Volleyball next to the softball field by the district office .

2. Salad Bar

Something that came back from before Covid was the salad bar. The lunch lines were long so they decided to add another option. They now added a 7th lunch line which also had a salad bar for students to get.

1. New Principal

A+Sit+Down+Session+With+Principal+Fletcher

The biggest change of 2023 for PRHS was getting a new principal. Megan Fletcher is now half way through the year with being a principal and is often seen interacting with students during lunch.
