Discovering what goes on in forte

Music has been a part of life and cultures for centuries. Starting out as little noises made by banging hands on the ground to now with modern technology that can mimic the sound of a drum at the push of a button.

Music has brought people from all walks of life together. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to feel a beat or dance to a rhythm. Music has also been a great and common way to express one’s emotions when they don’t know any other way to.

One of the hidden gems of Paso Robles High School is the advanced choir group Forte. They spend an extra hour a day after school and put in hard work to learn songs and practice harmonies. One of their most looked forward to performances is their Winter Showcase where they sing Christmas songs and bring people together from all over Paso Robles. Here’s some clips and highlights of their time practicing and their Winter Showcase showing the process of how they get ready and what Forte means to them.
