Boys Varsity Basketball dominated the Righetti Warriors, executing with a tenacious desire to win after going on a five game losing streak. The game ended with a final score of 60-51. This win puts the Bearcats at a record of 1-5 in league, and fifth place overall in league. Junior Devin Perez was lights out that night, going 8-16 from mid range, and 5-6 from beyond the three point line. During a play late in the fourth quarter, junior Darius Thompson drove hard to the basket, picking up a foul and sinking the shot to accompany it. This play boosted the team’s overall energy, and helped to bring the Bearcats out on top by the time the buzzer went off and the game came to an end.
