Wrapping up the volleyball season with Coach Caleb Ferguson


Varsity volleyball is coming to a close with a new coach

The Bearcat girls volleyball team is more than half way through the season. For the fifth year in a row there is a new coach, Caleb Ferguson. Ferguson played semi-professional ultimate frisbee for the Los Angeles Aviators. He has also played semi-professional volleyball.  

TAKING TITLES: Caleb Ferguson coached the Bearcats in the Madera Classic tournament where they finished second out of 26 teams.

Ferguson has high expectations coming into the program. “My goal coming in as the new PRHS

OFF SEASON: Ferguson plays beach volleyball with players at a local, family owned court.

Girls Volleyball coach is to build a winning program that not only produces great athletes and volleyball players but prepares young student athletes for the rest of their lives,” Ferguson said.

Senior setter, Shasta Garcia recognizes Ferguson’s dedication towards the program.  “Coach Caleb

is really passionate about all things volleyball. He cares about us unconditionally and sets a great example for everyone,” Garcia said.
