Varsity girls basketball team beat SLO High 55-44

The PRHS girls basketball team went into their game expecting a loss against SLO, one of the toughest teams to beat in league. The first half constantly flip-flopped from Paso being ahead to SLO gaining a lead. At half time the score reported 25-19, with PRHS gaining a steady lead. Xena Stanko, Janel Stanko, and Kimmy Buchanan all sunk multiple three pointers, and Hailey Abel and Jayden Lowen help boost up the score working around the key and making their layups. Paso continued to execute their plays, and ended their game strong with a 55-44 win. The PRHS varsity girls basketball team faces off against Mission Prep next on Tuesday Jan, 22. The Bearcats are currently 2-3 in league.
