[envira-gallery id=”22639″]The Varsity Bearcat Baseball team lost to the Righetti Warriors 9-5 on Friday, May 6. The game seemed to be a Bearcat victory when they had a 5-1 lead in the second inning, but things turned south in the fifth when the Warriors made a surprising come back. The Warriors scored five runs in the fifth and three in the sixth inning against Bearcat ace senior Nolan Binkele. The loss was an end to a three game series and tied both teams for first place in the PAC 8 league.
This week the Bearcats face third place Arroyo Grande for a three game series. The last home game of the season is Wednesday, May 11 at 4:30.
