The cookie was very good. It really gave the feeling of fall with the taste of nutmeg, cinnamon, and molasses. Even with all of these, the cookie wasn’t too sweet and had a good mix of a crispier outside with a soft, fudgy inside. Although the cookie was good, there wasn’t a lot of pumpkin flavor that could be tasted. It was either drowned out by the nutmeg and cinnamon or simply not there. Other than the lack of pumpkin flavor, the Caramel Pumpkin cookie was one of the Crumbl’s best cookies.

Sept 7 – Sept 13: Salted Caramel Cheesecake

The cookie was pretty average. The cheesecake frosting and caramel distracted you from the disappointment of the cookie. The cookie itself was very bland and boring, with the main taste being butter. It was also very moist and cookie dough-like. The cheesecake frosting was delicious, creamy, and smooth. To make the toppings even better, a sweet and silky caramel. They need to improve on the cookie itself, giving it either more of a predominant flavor or fixing the consistency. The cookie was average with the toppings being the highlight.

Sept 14 – Sept 20: Chocolate Milkshake

The cookie was above average. It was full of chocolate and like the name suggests, tasted a lot like a milkshake you’d find at a diner. The different sections of chocolate were very noticeable. You could tell what the cookie tasted like and differentiate it from the taste of the chocolate mousse on top. Even though the point of the cookie was to be pure chocolate, it was still a lot and lacked any flavor to complement the chocolate. It was a solid cookie and is great for chocolate lovers, but would probably overwhelm the average person.

The cookie was one of the best we have had. It was a good tasting cookie with a non overpowering drizzle of hazelnut frosting. It was very chewy and buttery. This was different from the salted caramel cheesecake cookie because you could taste more than just butter, you could taste the sugar and the cinnamon. The drizzle was very subtle but brought the cookie to another level. I wish the cookie was warmer instead of feeling like it came right out of a freezer. The cookie was one of the best ones we have had with each part of the cookie complimenting each other.

Sept 28 – Oct 4: Molten Lava
A scrumptious dark chocolate cookie oozing with hot fudge and sprinkled with powdered sugar

The cookie was good. It was a cross between a cookie and a brownie, but different from a brookie. The fudge inside was very rich and perfectly sweet, not overriding the taste buds. It was runny, like an actual molten lava cake, but not annoyingly runny to where it’s too much of a mess. Unlike the chocolate milkshake cookie, the chocolate wasn’t too strong. The fudge offered a nice taste and was different enough from mousse to where the chocolate wasn’t too much. Overall, the cookie was a very chocolatey cookie that wasn’t too overpowering.

The cookie was better than we expected. It was very sweet and buttery with a very strong cinnamon flavor. One thing that was different about this cookie from every other is that it was very warm which made it better. This cookie was made for the fall and made for this kind of weather. Like the other cookies with frosting, the frosting was very sweet and distracted us from the actual taste of the cookie. This cookie was definitely different from the others but it was very good.
