Clubs of PRHS Present: Club Expo

Friday, September 16th marked a day of discoveries and unity.

Leading the way at threshold a club stood out with vast people waiting to be enlightend by FNL (Friday Night Live). Sophmore President of FNL Divvyana Emmons, a club of acting a comedy skits, shared, “People should join because it’s just a super positive club that promotes really healthy choices that a lot of kids that I know at our school struggle with.” 

As people from the lunch tables troted to the energetic expo they tended to miss a distinguished club in the category of performing arts: the Drama Club where all are invited to share their passion for acting on stage. Senior President Amani Arellano shared, “It’s just such a welcoming space where we get to have fun and be creative and just love one another.”

MECHA showed lurked the corner with elements of the past in history posters and the present with proud smiles led by Ana Lopez.

Not only does Paso Robles High School feature on Campus clubs, but promote adventurist clubs like the Wilderness club. Furthermore, instead of showing beauty as the rest of the booths, the wilderness club came to show their real self displaying a tent. “I think people should join the club because it’s not like any other experience to go out with people you probably never talked to before, but have the same interest as you and you could enjoy natrue, and whatnot,” said an annonymous participant. 

BSU also participated showing their univision of racial equality by wearing matching yellow t-shirts. Senior President Akasha Asbury shared, “People should join (BSU) just to be involved in the black community and help out and it’s super fun.” 

Clubs centred around fun and enjoyment like FNL and Drama Club we’re spread out throught the expo but Conservative club put an emphasis of knowledge and perspective. Junior President Mateo de Alba shared, “People should join if they’re interested in Politics. Our name is the Conservative Club but we like to start discusiion between both political parties.”

    Great article, Adane (Sr. Vice Presidente), Love the exiotic latinesque intro, and the article is solid.
