The Bearcats started their league games with a bang when they won their first game in a 7-0 shutout against Templeton High School on Friday March 11, 2022. With senior Jaiden Ralston’s pitching prowess on the mound and the Bearcat’s strong defense, they held off the Eagles from crossing the plate. The Bearcats scored two runs during the first inning and were neck and neck with the Eagles the next for innings, both teams keeping eachother from crossing the plate. During the fifth inning freshman Kylee Nancolas hit a triple deep into center. The Bearcats rallied and put five runs on the board that inning, making the final score 7-0.
