Opening night at The Little Mermaid, success

Ariel is in love with the Prince and the undersea world is turned on its shimmery head.

And you will be all of those things yourself once you have sat in the PRHS Spring Musical.

Drama’s spring production proved to be successful again on opening weekend Friday, Mar. 31 through Sunday, Apr 2.  Disney’s The Little Mermaid sold out before the weekend was over. The show runs for two weeks, ending on Sunday, Apr. 9. Junior Madecyn Penn is Ariel and junior Cade England plays Prince Eric. Seniors in the show include: Kylie Managan as Flounder, Maycee Ham as Sebastian, Graham Farrell as Scuttle, and Sophia Velasquez as Grimsby.

“I feel like each night is new and I connect to [Ariel] a little more… Little by little I have new discoveries and new decisions I make as I start to really become my character.” said junior Madecyn Penn.
