It’s been over a year since the girls’ golf team has been able to compete, and the Paso Robles Country club was buzzing with excitement as the girls’ roster was gearing up to participate in their first match of the season against SLO.
The first match was held on Tuesday, March 2 at PRHS’s home course. The varsity roster consisted of Jenny Armstrong, Malia Gaviola, Katie Wagoner, Kaci Wagner, Lexi Wagoner, and Ceci Martinez. After a long 9 holes, the team finished just behind SLO, scoring a 269 to 256, a 13 stroke difference.
