The Varsity Bearcat baseball team handed the Arroyo Grande Eagles their 11th loss of the season on Tuesday, May 10th at Arroyo Grande High School.
After scoring two runs in the second inning, the Eagles held the Bearcats scoreless until the sixth inning but the momentum shifted late in game as Paso Robles scored four runs in the final three innings to secure a close 4-3 victory.
Sophomore Ryan Harvel started the game on the mound and allowed two runs in six innings pitched.
Standouts of the game included senior Nolan Binkele who came in relief and picked up the win after pitching the final two innings of the ball game, including also going 3 for 4 with 1 RBI at the plate. Freshmen Hunter Barnhart also had a strong showing by going 3 for 5 with 1 run scored.
The Bearcats will finish out the three game series with the Eagles with the final home-game of the year on Wednesday May 10th and the final regular season game on Friday May 12th on the road at Arroyo Grande HS.
