VARSITY GIRLS SOCCER DEFEATS ARROYO GRANDE EAGLES 2-1
The crowd gathered in anticipation, excited to watch the thrilling senior night game between the Paso Robles Bearcats and Arroyo Grande Eagles. The Lady Bearcats brought their spirit and celebrated the end of senior night with a win of 2-1.
Before the game, eleven seniors were introduced along with family and friends and were recognized for their time as a player on their team. The ladies each received flowers from their teammates and then got ready for their last home league game.
With a very competitive first half, the score still stood at 0-0 against the Eagles, but that didn’t last for long; the Bearcats stepped it up and eventually rose to the top with a 2-1 win. Senior Tacey Bivin and sophomore Hannah Bourgault both scored in the second half, sealing the win.
