Bearcats defeat St. Joseph Knights 7 – 1 in a preseason home game.
Paso Varsity Bearcats take the win against the St. Joseph Knights: seven to one in a preseason home softball game on Feb 26. Seattle University commit Brooke Milder played a solid defense while Hannah Chambers contributed many key strikeouts.
Kinsey Metcalf, starting pitcher, said “we scored 5 runs on them giving us a strong lead and kept going from there.”
The softball girls scored two runs in the first inning, three in the fifth, and two in the sixth; adding up to a total of seven runs.
The dedicated athletes have been practicing since November to get in shape and are looking forward to a successful season.
