PRHS Women’s Volleyball is defeated in three matches by Stockdale High School
On Sept. 13 PRHS Volleyball played Stockdale and lost 0-3. Playing a newer opponent to the Bearctas from Bakersfield, spectators were unsure what to expect. In the close matches, Stockdale maintained a lead winning the first set 25 to 21, the second set 25 to 23, and the third set 27 to 25. In the third set Bearcats faught until the end but Stockdale took the win.
Senior Kimmy Buchanan, a middle hitter, ended the game with the most kills: a total of 7. Senior Kirra Vargas ends the game with the most aces for the Bearcats with a total of 2.
This gives Bearcats a 3-1 record. They will being playing in a neutral tournament over the weekend.
