Bearcat Baseball starts the 2016 with a bang
The varsity baseball team overcame the Salinas Cowboys 3-1 on Wednesday Mar 3. After the Cowboys scored their first run, the Bearcats tied it up, then took the lead. Outstanding plays were made by Senior first baseman Justin Davis, snagging a line drive, picking off a base runner at first, and running along side the batter in order to tag him out. Senior Matt Keller made his pitching debut in the fourth inning striking out two out of the four batters he faced. The Bearcats will face Cabrillo next on Friday Mar 4.
