Paso Robles Varsity Football took on the Templeton Eagles on April 17, 2021 for the second time in 97 years, clawing them down 34-20. The last time the two faced off on the field was in 1924, where the Bearcats left with a victory. This year, on a clear starry night, Junior Jake Morones #3 got the first touchdown of the night within the first ten minutes of the first quarter. The Bearcats continued their momentum throughout the game, with sophomore Leo Kemp #26 snagging another two touchdowns before the end of the first half. Bearcat defense held a strong line and minimized attempted attacks by the Eagles. Morones and Kemp both had another touchdown in the second half, ending the game 34-20, keeping their victorious reign against the Eagles.
