For most the holidays are a joyous time to celebrate with family and large feasts, but for some the holidays are a difficult time. Thanksgiving for Paso has changed that, for the past 32 years people are able to get turkey, ham, cranberries, stuffing, green beans, salad, yams, mashed potatoes and gravy delivered or a sit down dinner. Over 1,000 people are served with the fresh cooked food. The feast is paid for with donations from schools, churches, businesses, community, and organizations. Also, barbers and stylists are available to give free haircuts before eating. A lot of work is put into preparing a comfortable dining room, over a hundred volunteers work on Wednesday and Thursday. From decorating, to cooking, to cleaning and serving are some of the many ways to help. If you want to be apart of this organization, contact information: http://www.thanksgivingforpasorobles.com/
