Tickets go on sale for PRHS’s upcoming dance
For all those who have dreamed of dancing the night away at a Gatsby-esque soiree, this year’s winter formal, taking place on Jan. 30, is sure to deliver. Rather than being held in the Gil Asa Gym, the venue for this dance will be the Carlton Hotel in Atascadero.
“[Changing the venue] is something we have thought about doing for quite a while but finding the perfect place on a budget to accommodate so many high schoolers was and is the biggest thing that held us back in the past,” said junior Lauren Hocker, who has been in Leadership for two years. It takes roughly two months of work for the Leadership class to put together this event.
Tickets will be on sale until Jan. 29. However, since only 350 tickets are available, they may sell out before then, so be sure to buy your tickets now to avoid missing out on this event.
