Peer donates holiday cheer to nine families across the district
It’s easy to get lost in all the Christmas cheer and holiday shopping, but for some families putting presents under the tree is not so easy. Here at PRHS, the Advanced Peer program has recognized this problem and has set out to bring holiday cheer to nine families in the Paso Robles district. “Each department purchases or provides funding for the families and the Peer group will wrap and deliver boxes to the family before Christmas,” said junior Jorge Rodriguez, a member of the advanced Peer program here at Paso High. According to Rodriguez, most of the packages have already been delivered thanks to the help of the science, social studies, english, Visual and Performing Arts, Math, and FFA departments, as well as Ms. Hoy and Mr. Arnette. Jorge, along with the rest of Advanced Peer group, is working to make sure “every kid has a happy holiday because everyone deserves this experience,” Rodriguez said.
