Opening Performances
Ding Ding Ding– Nutrition comes to an end, but the fun doesn’t stop there! On Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025, Tutorial classes stormed into the gym, avoiding the rain. As they were seated, PRHS Drumline surprises the crowd with their cadence, preparing bearcats for what’s to come.
Entering the spotlight, seniors Josie Crank and Sloane Beasley make noise, introducing upcoming games. With chants from the crowd, PRHS Cheer enters the astroturf and begins their flawless performance.
The Bearcat Games
After the synchronized performance, the games began. Drifting across the gym floor, Tutorial Class representatives began playing Air Mattress Surfing. In the first round, the dance group won, with a close tie to cheer. In the second round, randomly selected crowd members formed teams. Leading to a victory, Kenyon Rickson (12) dived into the mattress, traveling across half floor.

Ending the mattress-mania with a rapid round, Crank calls on a few Basketball Bearcats, to play basketball musical chairs. Rising from the crowd, Julia Cox (10) along with two of her teammates, entered the competition. With three other male basketball players being selected, Parker Keep (10), followed by his teammate, takes their chances at winning. Unexpectedly joining the game as the third male, Freshman Football Coach Chester Maksim intimidates the students with his skill. Knocking each other out one by one, Cox is left against Keep and Maksim. Quickly making a score, Cox takes the win for the Women’s Basketball Team.
Closing the Stage
Finishing off the rally with a performance by PRHS Dance and a quick lip reading game among the teachers, the crowd is hit with a surprise. “Avery Mathers (12) will you please step down” the hosts announced as the nonchalant dancer was asked– “Will you buy your Yearbook?” by the El Roble Staff.
