Bearcats beat the Miners with a score of 17-14
Friday, September 6, PRHS football takes a win against El Diamante High School. The Bearcats took the lead in the first quarter with a rushing touchdown. Holding the Miners, the Bearcats kept the lead with another touchdown in the second quarter making the score, 7-14. Going into the second half, the Miners got a pick and ran it back for a touchdown, tying it up. With nine minuets to go in the fourth quarter, Senior Jorge Sandoval completed a field goal. Sandoval is playing his first season of high school football and is the team’s punter and kicker. After securing the win, the Bearcat’s record is now 1-2.
