Senior Service Scholarship Event brings laughs throughout the week
If you’re wondering why you see guys dressing up in prom dresses and girls wearing “saturdays are for the boys” on their shirts, the annual Senior Service Scholarship Event is to blame. On Friday April 20 eight singles and six groups were auctioned off as other students raised the bids, the event made $428 dollars in all with bids going over 80$. Students were able to purchase a senior in order to make them perform tasks with only a few rules: nothing before/after school and nothing to change their daily attendance. Throughout the week the buyers will continue to make their seniors dress up in crazy costumes, wear signs and more. This event raises money for a scholarship fund chosen by the leadership class.
