Seniors Jake Van Wiggeren and Teresa Cabello were honored with Valedictorian and Salutatorian titles for Graduation 2017, respectively, at the June 5 Top Cats Award Assembly filled with parents, teachers, family, and school and district leaders.
Over 40 seniors, along with Van Wiggerin and Cabello, walked the Performing Arts stage to receive handshakes, applause, medals, and often CSF honor cords. Together they make up the top 10 percent in GPA ranking of their 414 person senior class. All Top Cats boast a GPA above 4.0.
Their spotlight moment included a slide of their senior portrait, favorite moments from PRHS and teacher, and their destination following graduation. Graduation will be held Friday, June 16, 2017, at War Memorial Stadium.
