Senior sale raises $413 for scholarships
Students gathered in the gym to bid on seniors in a live auction on Tuesday, March 28 and Wednesday March 29. Around 40 seniors sold amounting in a total of $413 and all proceeds went to the schools scholarship foundation, according to senior Tobias Mäder. Students were sold in groups and as individuals; their prices ranged anywhere from $5 to $50. Seniors Jonathan Jaimes and Micah Canales sold for the most as a group for $50 and Jared Thompson sold for the most as an individual for $20. Science teacher Anthony Overton was the live auctioneer.
