PRHS holds the first stunt competition in its history
Varsity cheer will have its first stunt competition at PRHS on March 27 and then its second on March 30. The PRHS varsity cheer squad will go against four high schools including Santa Barbara High School and Arroyo Grande High School. Having practiced everyday after school until four p.m.-sometimes 4:30- after school since mid December, the girls feel both excited and confident in themselves.
Coach Loney has put together a playlist for the girls to practice to and records the girls to go over how to make the routines better. Practice after practice, the girls have dedicated over 80 hours to their routines. Every sore muscle, ever drop of sweat has led to this.
